Yummy treats your little chicks will love this Easter

Easter is quickly approaching! April 16 to be exact and I am very excited. To me, Easter is all about family and enjoying delicious food, especially dessert! Usually I’m in charge of making dessert so I thought I would share my inspiration for this years treats that I’ve found online from my favorite websites! Malted Vanilla Cake from Better Homes and Gardens: Yummy vanilla cake perfect with an Easter flare! The thought of this homemade buttercream frosting makes my sugar levels go up! I love the cotton candy and malted eggs to tie it all together. This one would be a hit with my mother-in-law!


Best-Loved Carrot Cake from Better Homes and Gardens: My mom LOVES carrot cake and I’m thinking of baking this one for her. I love the simplicity of this cake and the sprinkled chopped pecans on top makes it to elegant to eat!


Easter Chocolate Nest Mini Egg Cupcakes from Taming Twins: I’ve made cupcakes similar to this in years past and they were a huge hit! Cupcakes are so fun and versatile, which makes them one of my favorite desserts to bake and eat! How cute are these Easter Nests? The little chicks in your life will love these cute cupcakes.

You can choose any flavor cake you’d like too! I think I would choose funfetti. I am also in love with the beautiful light teal frosting!
